BEST OF THE WEB WEDNESDAY: TARGET SPRING 2016

Oops, I did it again!  I swear that is the song that plays through my head every time Target releases their new seasonal home decor collections because it means lots of pieces are going to magically jump into my cart and come home with me.  Seriously, please raise your hand if being a product designer on Target’s interiors team would not be your dream job.  I am going to go ahead and assume you are all raising your hand, because well duh!  Too bad this desert bred girl could never handle all the snow in Minnesota.  Anyhoo, we are doing something a little different for our Best of the Web series this week. Our preview of the Fall line from Target was one of our most popular posts last year, so we thought we could bring you the best of the Target Spring home line this week.

They are of course killing it as always and I spotted a lot of current and emerging trends.  Bringing some of these pieces into your home is a great way to incorporate current trends without having to spend a ton of money.  Lots of beautiful blush pink showing up in their pillow collections. Tons of gorgeous mixed metals and lots and lots of natural fibers.  I think this is a trend that is really going to emerge as we move into 2016.  You are seeing everything from bamboo and rattan to seagrass, jute, and water hyacinth in many of their baskets, lighting, and accessories.  These materials bring a ton of texture to the space. So without further ado, here are our favorite pieces from the Target Spring home lines.

And because seriously, like 18 products is enough, we are going to leave a few more favorites that we just couldn’t squish onto the board.  I promise we do not love them any less.  Hopefully they won’t get a complex.
