CRUSHING ON BLUSH

Hello and happy Thursday! Let’s talk a little bit about pink when it comes to decor.  We tend to use a bit of pink in most of our projects, it’s something we love to do and feel like it brings warmth, a pop of color and a bit of femininity to a space. There there is something about a soft, subtle pink that makes everything feel a little bit fun and classic.

Sometimes people are brave and go really bold with their use of pink – for instance, buying a pink sofa or chair and designing a room around those pieces. We love to add pink in the accessories of the room, maybe in the rug (this one is so pretty and the price isn’t bad at all), pillows or textures of the space.

Our main tip for using pink in your space would be to start small, see what you are comfortable with (sometimes it takes the husbands/boyfriends a minute to get used to the idea) and then slowly add pops here and there. Maybe start in a powder bathroom and then work the pink into your main living space. It sounds dramatic, but we can’t tell you how many times our clients question using pink in their homes, but then it proves to be their favorite thing!

This art piece is beautiful and would be pretty over a buffet. I also really love this pot (in the kitchen or on a coffee table). Of course pillows are an easy way to make your pink easy to change out and not so permanent.

And then of course, we love pink in our CLOSETS 🙂 Ummmm let’s talk about these booties for a second…I just got them because I couldn’t not buy them, ha! I also mentioned this wrap dress on our IG stories for our Monday Must-haves and it is so pretty! This blouse is so cute for fall and this sweater will NO DOUBT be in my closet this fall (I also love the yellow color option).

Let us know what you think of blush and pinks in your living spaces, we’d love to hear! xo
