You guys are seriously going to have to pinch me today, and I mean really, really hard. I can not believe I have the honor of introducing the two beautiful and talented ladies from House of Jade Interiors on my blog. Kirsten and Erin are two of the most talented women in the design field. I have always been a H U G E fan of their work and looked up to them as role models for how to run a successful design business while balancing a young family. They both have such impeccable personal and design style and I am so excited that they are here today to share some of their favorite things to wear, as well as the things they use the most in their designs. Such a treat! After you check out their must haves, hop over to their blog and prepare to get lost down the rabbit hole of gorgeous design. And for goodness sake, if you are not following them on Instagram, go follow them right now. I promise you will not be disappointed.
If you are new to E.Interiors, welcome and we are so glad to have you. You can learn a little more about us here. You can check out our latest design reveal here. I am also participating as a guest contributor in the One Room Challenge and you can check out my progress here and here.
Hi guys and thank you to Megan and Dawn for having us today. We are Kirsten and Erin and we are the best friends and duo behind House of Jade Interiors. We love the fact that we get the opportunity to share our passion and our business with each other. While we have worked together for several years, we joined together to form House of Jade in June of 2014. Since coming together to form our business, we have had the opportunity to share some of the most incredible experiences working together. There is something so special and unique about working with your best friend. We would probably describe our design style as modern transitional. We love creating a sophisticated, eclectic look with lots of contrast, color and pattern. Kirsten has a thing for all things navy and loves to use color, color, and more color in her designs. Erin is a master seamstress and has soft spots for brass details and chinoissiere elements. For our personal style, we love feminine details and lots of florals. We both have very young families, in fact Erin just had a new baby boy, so we like our clothing to be stylish, but also very comfortable and kid-friendly. We love booties and flats, because who can chase around a bunch of toddlers in high heels. We also share a hat obsession with Megan. We hope you enjoy some of our favorite finds and maybe find a new favorite of your own!
