GLENDALE RENOVATION: BATHROOMS

We recently revealed the kitchen of our Glendale renovation and today we are showing you both of the bathrooms we updated!

GUEST BATHROOM:

The second guest bathroom was an unplanned fix-up from our beginning plans. So, we came up with a rather inexpensive way to dress it up. We painted the existing cabinets navy blue, added the cabinet hardware, tiled the wall behind the vanity with small square Carrera tiles and replaced the standard grade mirror. Again, I wish we had before photos, but now this is one of my favorite little spaces in the house. I mean… the hardware + the mirror are dynamite!

POWDER BATHROOM:

The guest powder bath was originally faux painted (I wish we had before photos) and we knew this would be the perfect spot for some bold wallpaper – we love how the blue floral turned out. We also knew this was a safe place to add some gold accents. The mirror was a score from Homegoods and the milk glass + gold pendant is what my dreams are made of. The sink+ faucet were already there as was the protruding wall behind the sink and the toilet. To dress it up, we added white shiplap (one of our current favorite trim treatments) – we love the texture it adds to the space. It’s a tight little space, but love how inviting it now is.
