HANDMADE GIFT ROUND-UP

I wanted to share a round-up of the favorite handmade gift tutorials that I have seen this holiday season.  Unfortunately, I am one of the least crafty people you will ever meet, but I always dream of being able to create amazing handmade gifts.  So today I am going to gather all of my favorite, EASY TO MAKE handmade gift options.  The criteria to make it onto the list is that it had to be simple enough to make that even I could do it.  These are all perfect for the procrastinator in you because they are easy enough that you could knock them out over the weekend with plenty of time to deliver by Christmas! I hope you see something that catches your eye.  I know I would love to receive any one of the gifts on this list.

CHRISTMAS WRAPPING JAR BY PINK PEPPERMINT DESIGN

The first handmade gift is an awesome wrapping tool that is adorable and so easy to make.  Like seriously, even I can handle this one.  Tammy, from Pink Peppermint Design, is so creative and I love all of her tutorials.  This would make the cutest gift for a neighbor or teacher gift.  It is inexpensive to make, but really useful.  It doesn’t get any better than that!

HOLIDAY TERRARIUM FROM THE CARDS WE DREW VIA TATERTOTS AND JELLO

I am obsessed with this DIY terrarium.  What a cute and creative idea!  I think these would be so perfect is you had a little girl who was a tween.  I thought they would be perfect as little gifts to give her friends from school.  This is another one that looks simple and inexpensive and could be a really fun mother and daughter craft to do.

METALLIC CANDLES BY EAST COAST CREATIVE

Our next two ideas come from the queen of the DIY, Monica over at East Coast Creative.  I mean she had her on segment on Live with Kelly and Michael for gods sake!  She totally knows what she is talking about when it comes to handmade gifts.  I absolutely love these metallic candles and honestly I don’t think they could be any easier to make.  These would be perfect gift if you had any Jewish friends celebrating Hanukkah.  They would also make a great gift for some of your home design loving friends.

MARBLE SERVING TRAY BY EAST COAST CREATIVE

Um, this is basically genius.  I love how high-end this gift looks, but how inexpensive it is to make.  This would make the perfect hostess gifts for some of your holiday parties this year.  Monica strikes again!

GEOMETRIC WOOD TRIVETS BY A BEAUTIFUL MESS

The girls from A Beautiful Mess definitely know their way around a craft and DIY.  If I am being totally honest, this is probably pushing the limits of my DIY abilities, but they were just so cool looking that I had to include them.  They don’t require any special tools just some wood stain, wood veneer and an iron.  I could handle that…right?

COOKIE CUTTER WREATH BY INSPIRED BY CHARM

Michael, from Inspired by Charm, has done it again!  I love this simple cookie cutter wreath.  For all you gals who go to or host cookie exchange parties, this would be a perfect hostess gift or party favor for your guest to take home.  LOVE this idea.
