Hey there! I have something fun and exciting to share today! Let me give you a little bit of background…
I am about 10-12 credits away from graduating from college. YOU GUYS, I never finished because we moved so my husband could transfer universities and then we wanted a house, so I worked and saved so we could buy one which we did back in 2007. And then he decided to change career paths and head to dental school so it was a long road + add some babies in there. With this came a need for me to bring in income while my husband went to school, so I taught myself how to run a business (not saying I am excellent by any means) without any training or business education. But I have learned so many things along the way, mostly by fellow business owners who specialize in certain areas, run specific businesses, etc. From my pillow making days in Los Angeles, to my baby + kids clothing line, to now focusing on fashion and interior design, I have taken several online courses and studied a lot of various topics from people I admire. I LOVE learning new skills, it’s addicting for me.
So, when I learned about Skillshare, I was super pumped! Skillshare is an online platform where you can learn from hundreds of people who are skilled or specialize in all sorts of things. From learning how to watercolor, to setting-up a Facebook Ad, to photography and so much more! I have taken a handful of classes (that have been SO GOOD) + I look forward to taking tons more when I can squeeze them in.
