You guys! Today is the day + I am excited to share my master bedroom that I have been working on for the 6 week One Room Challenge hosted by Calling it Home. I have loved following along during other people’s challenges and I am also thrilled to have one house in my new rental complete. There are a few things I may still switch up and add, but overall, I love how it came together! Make sure and read through to the end for a super awesome ROOM REVEAL GIVEAWAY!! You don’t want to miss it!
One of my favorite elements of the room are my indigo shibori pillows from Pure Home LA. I knew I wanted dark blue in my master bedroom so I pretty much based my room off of these. Aren’t they so pretty?! I got them in the mail and literally squealed! They are beautifully made + I love the zipper detail on the back of the large 24×24 one.
I switched up the hardware on my Ikea nightstands to these gold lovelies and love how it quickly upgraded these inexpensive pieces. They match my gold bed perfectly and they definitely put a smile on my face every time I see them.
My West Elm sconces are another fave feature of the room. I love that they are slightly undersized but still make a statement in the room. Both my husband and I love having our own task lamps. I couldn’t decide between the white or the black at first, but am glad I went with the black ones!
This watercolor art print from A New Wall is bright and fun and adds an unexpected element to the room. I was originally planning on hanging it over my bed, but it fit better over my dresser – it found the perfect home! I wanted a dark frame to anchor this side of the room, but am debating whether or not to switch out this frame for a thinner frame. It turns out 16×24 frames are harder to come by than I thought and I am a procrastinator, so this was my option at the store yesterday. There ya have it! But I am 100% obsessed with the print.
If you have been following along each week of my challenge, then you know about Gem and Elli and their amazingly awesome weavings – I was so excited to add this over my nightstand along with my new Rachel Robbins art print. It’s something unexpected and fun! Every house needs one of these beauties.
I decided on these curtains for our window and I really love how they cozy up the room. And now we don’t get light streaming into our room starting at 5:30am. Fist pumps for that! And of course, our reclaimed wood bench for the hubby to put his shoes on in the morning (this was his one request).
And the details…
Some fun Home Goods baskets for our laundry since it won’t fit in our closet.
Another shot of the pillows because they are that good!
And one more shot of the art over the dresser!
I am so excited to announce that we have teamed up with Pure Home La, A New Wall and Gem and Elli, to give away:
– 2 pillows
– a 16×24 art print
– a mini custom weaving
to one lucky reader!!!
ALSO! Pure Home LA is offering 15% off any order placed now through December 1st – all you have to do is mention you came from E. Interiors. So awesome!
