ONE ROOM, TWO WAYS: CLAIRE BRODY

We are so thrilled for today’s post and to introduce our guest contributor.  We have the latest installment of our One Room, Two Ways Series and today we get to experience the gorgeous work of Claire, from Claire Brody Designs.  We are huge fans of her work and were absolutely ecstatic when she agreed to participate in the series.  Claire has the most unbelievable ability to mix vintage pieces in with her modern design aesthetic.  Everything she does is complete magic!  It has been such an exciting time for Claire, who just had her house featured on Design Sponge and is a featured designer in this season’s One Room Challenge that launches this week.  We are so, so happy for her and our completely honored that she could be here with us today.

If you are new here from Claire’s site, welcome, we are so glad to have you.  You can learn a little more about us here.  You can also check out one of our latest installs or take a peek at one of our favorite kitchen remodels ever.  We also just launched an online design course that teaches you EVERYTHING you need to know if you are about to embark on a major remodel or custom build.

Hello! I’m Claire from Claire Brody Designs. When Megan + Dawn asked me to participate in their One Room Two Ways series I couldn’t wait to get started on the room design just knowing they would choose GREAT pieces to incorporate. Well, they did (duh), and they also have crazy good style (as we all know), so I was pretty excited to join their One Room Two Ways series today!

Megan + Dawn asked me to build a design around two pieces: the Bryght Sven Charme leather sofa and the Lulu and Georgia Zircon Rug in Oatmeal. I’ve actually been dying to incorporate the Bryght leather sofa into a design as the lines are incredible, but even better, the price literally can’t be beat.

One Room Two Ways:

One Room Two Ways

Chandelier – This lighting in the design adds a major chic touch. The lines on that thing…

Sofa – This Bryght sofa is all kinds of perfection. The tan leather brings so much warmth to the space (always needed).

Pillow – I’m a huge fan of the designer of this pillow, and I just saw that one of my favorite pillow shops on Etsy is carrying this Rebecca Atwood pillow. I chose a small scale pattern as the rug has a large scale pattern. I think the two two compliment each other well.

Rug – This Lulu & Georgia rug is the perfect foundation for really most any room. You just can’t go wrong with a geometric lattice pattern.

Art | Art – My latest obsession is this FABULOUS artist. I browse her Etsy shop regularly…. so, so good.

Accent Chairs – I’m all about mustard right now. ESPECIALLY with tan. Definitely my favorite combo.

Table Lamp – I just purchased this table lamp for my own desk and love it. The shape pairs well with the chandelier in this design, and the price can’t be beat.

Accent Table – I also own this leather accent stool/table. CB2 has one for like quadruple the price of this one.
