PECANS PROJECT: KITCHEN + DINING NOOK

Happy Friday! The week of the #pecansproject reveal continues and we are super exited to share the kitchen + eating nook today. It is definitely one for the books and I wish I could move in already! So a little back story on this home…

Our clients started with a semi-custom home through a builder but did several holdbacks (flooring, countertops. etc) so once they closed on the home, the real work began. The flooring then went in, some tile on countertops had to be ripped out, the trim went in, final painting (of the walls and doors) and then custom hardware and lighting. It was a long process, but the clients were able to get exactly what they wanted this way (without paying for upgrades they didn’t want through the builder) without building a full custom home. It might have just been as much work in the end.

This kitchen is a stunner. We love the brass hardware + lighting and how it contrasts the wood elements over in the dining nook. The chandelier lights (available HERE) over the island really make a statement and bring that wow factor for sure. The leather barstools contrast all the white in the kitchen which is what we were going for and we love the pop of color from this runner.

We knew we wanted the dining area to be warm and inviting, so we mixed wood tones and brought in a modern element with the wood and black leather chairs (similar chairs HERE). This table is awesome! The round wooden chandelier (available HERE) brings together the round table and round nook. We love how it all came together.
